Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The premiere of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince made quite a stir. Even in the small town of Coburg, was a very long line to enter 2nd projection of the film's opening day. Was it worth waiting? Honestly, I can not really say it was. It was a good film in the series, nice to see old familiar faces and new, but the story lacked depth.

This was supposed to be nothing steamiest and most romantic movies, but really love the storyline really implemented. In fact, most scenarios had very little follow through at all, they all seemed just co mingle with other storylines without really satisfying the spectator in any of them. It is a movie very long, probably in the hope of pleasing the public who read the books by not missing important details. Unfortunately, however, he made this film seem to rushed at times. Perhaps it would have been wiser to do what they do with the plan on the next book, "Harry Potter and "Deathly Hallows" and divide it into a film of two parts.

On a positive note about the movie, the cinematography was wonderful. From the beauty of landscapes action filled game of Quidditch and amazing costumes, the director David Yates, brings all these elements to some pretty stimuli. awesome visual, it was easy to see that they are catering to an older audience, so that Harry and the crew to grow to their fans. The comedy in this film by far beats all the others and adds some light to very dark film.Â

The actors are all fantastic and play their role perfectly. The characters have great depth and Alan Rickman, who is one of my favorite actors, is a real boon in this one. Helena Bonham Carter deserves also honors the terrifying seduction Bellatrix Lestrange. I really missed appearance Ralph Fiennes Lord Voldemort in this film, although Hero Fiennes-Tiffin (Ralph Fiennes Nephew) plays a very convincing Dark haunting 11 years, Tom Riddle.Â

Overall, I look forward to release the movie on DVD. I intend to buy and watch again. It's one of those films that may be the most rewarding look again if you already know the plot. (Note: I have not read the Harry Potter novels and therefore did not know what to expect, I would not have got the same thing out of it than those who read this.)
