I couldn’t believe that with the Economy in such lousy shape and so many people out of work, that a big corporation would want to raise their rates.
It would make more sense if they were to try to make their clients satisfied and loyal. In that case the right thing to do would be to lower cable prices not increase them.
All they’re doing is making it more difficult for their customers to stay faithful to them, especially when there are other options. Even though I had the same service for many years, if I could not get lower cable prices in return then maybe it was time to find a new provider.
For the first time ever I began examining the satellite TV companies like DISH Network and DIRECTV DIRECTV and DISH Network. I’d caught their tv ads stating they had the answer for customers looking to reduce cable prices.
While the price appeared to be a whole lot better than what I was paying, I was concerned that the service from a satellite dish would keep on working during stormy weather, or on windy days. As it happens the satellite service providers figured out these problems and had upgraded with technological advances. In the case of DISH Network, they had made so many advancements that users had fewer service interruptions than cable clients!
Given that I had no job to go to, I could take the time to look and set out to choose the the best television service company that would help me save money, and give me more bang for my buck.
Right away the first thing I noticed was that there was only one way I was going to get lower cable prices, was to finally say goodbye to cable. I would have to make a choice of either, DIRECTV and DISH Network.
Either one promoted good pricing for the first 12 months. The DIRECTV Choice package with 150 channels and DISH Network’s America’s Top 120 are both priced at less than $30.00 per month. But, after the initial year of service DIRECTV’s regular price increases to more than $60 each month while the regular price from DISH Network is still reasonably priced at just $44.99 per month. That’s a savings over $165! They could also raise their rates. I might end up paying just about what as I was paying with my cable provider.
Here’s another advantage that you get with DISH Network. DISH Network’s 24-month offer makes it possible for you to lock in your regular rate until 2013
